GLP Driving Course

We offer GLP driving courses and driving theory classes at our North Vancouver or Burnaby location to help students gain their driving licence in BC. You must be at least 16 years of age to attend GLP driving theory classes, and it is preferable for you to have a BC Learner’s Driver Licence (in Vancouver) upon registration. To prepare for your knowledge test, you must study the Learn to Drive Smart booklet from ICBC.

Operated from our North Vancouver school, our our GLP driving course is available for Greater Vancouver students and includes 20 hours of in-class driver education theory as well as in-vehicle training with a qualified driving instructor. If needed, additional in-car driving instruction is available.  We work with every individual and cater lessons to every student’s unique skillset.

Upon successful completion of an ICBC approved Graduated Licensing Program (GLP) driving course, the driver will receive a certificate called a Declaration of Completion (DOC) to reduce the Class 7N (novice stage) stage by 6 months. High school students who complete a GLP program will also qualify for two grade 11 credits.

In addition to offering a GLP driving course in North Vancouver & Burnaby, North Shore Driving School also provides individual lessons, theory courses, refresher courses, and defensive driving courses.
